Kano – London Town (2007)

Here is the retail version of UK rapper Kano’s album “London Town”. In my opinion Kano is one of the best rappers from the UK along with Dizzee Rascal. I haven’t listened to any of his songs for years now so i wouldn’t know what to expect from this album, hopefully it’s a good album. His new album is released out today for those who may want to buy it. Enjoy!

Kane Brett Robinson, better known as Kano, is an English rapper. His grandparents came to the United Kingdom as immigrants from Jamaica. He is signed to 679 Recordings and is a labelmate of The Streets. He was also a key member in East London’s N.A.S.T.Y. Crew, but since being signed to 679 recordings he has stopped performing and producing tracks for N.A.S.T.Y Crew.

London Town is the second studio album by Kano. The album London Town will be released September 10, 2007 and the first single featuring Craig David This Is The GirlAugust 27, 2007. will be released

Kano is also releasing a special Deluxe Limited Edition that includes a DVD featuring a interview with Kano, This Is The Girl video and acoustic studio footage with Craig David. Confirmed guests include Vybz Kartel, Kate Nash, Craig David and Leo The Lion.

Wish he’d included layer cake on the album absolute quality tune. Kano is still one of the best though and its about time he got some decent mainstream recognition.

wow more rap music, seems to be an influx of rap lately. Hasn’t anyone told anyone else that rap music sold itself out and is dead? That ALL rappers and hip hop artists are just crackhead jokes now? HAHAH enjoy your music sheeple.

@4 I agree completely, all music is finished, just that rap is further along the end of the line than even country, and that’s saying alot!!

I wonder why a person feels the need to post that he doesn’t like something knowing full well the target audience couldn’t give a fcuk what he thinks? Whats the point …. Kano is dope, Hip-Hop is till alive and the haters need to get over it.

layer cake Isn’t on this album because he says “F**k the brit’s lets get pissed” this defenitly doesn’t help his chances of selling alot in the mainstream.

I’m not personaly offended but it could easily offend others, that aside layer cake is a top record just needed fine tunning. Sometimes wearing your heart on your sleeve isn’t the best policy.
